Holly Ingebo and Casey Pierce, the owners of the Station Grocery and Deli, have decided to shift their focus away from serving as grocery to operating more as a deli/restaurant and cafe, though they plan to continue to stock a limited number of grocery items, including bulk products, local meats and eggs and other items. More seating, possibly including outdoor space, is coming soon, they say.

 

Russ Jefferson, former owner of S.O.B.'s, plans to open a new, similarly focused restaurant in Hot Springs in two and half weeks. Like S.O.B's, the Hot Springs Oyster Bar will serve fried seafood, oysters on the half shell, boiled shrimp and gumbo. Jefferson, a pharmacist, says that nutritional values will be listed next to each item on the menu. The restaurant is located at 510 Central Avenue.
