The Farmer’s Daughter Cafe opened this week in the Cox Creative Center where Boulevard Bread Co. previously had a spot. In a musical chairs of cafes in the district, Boulevard is shifting to the River Market where Andina Cafe is situated, and will open its new spot in early January. Andina is taking a smaller space in the River Market.

The Farmer’s Daughter Cafe will feature coffees, sandwiches and wraps, salads, smoothies and baked goods. The Cox Creative Center is at 120 Commerce St. in the angular building across from Sticky Fingerz. It’s part of the Main Library system.

This weekend might be a good time to check out the Cox Creative, where the Friends of the Central Arkansas Library will be holding a book sale Friday through Sunday, with paperbacks for 50 cents and hardcovers for $1.
