n Chef and owner Peter Brave of Brave New Restaurant tells us he’s finished a complete re-do of the menu. Brave New is also accepting reservations for tables of six diners or more. Look for more expansion at Brave, as well, with two smaller dining rooms being added that would accommodate 12 to 20 diners. The restaurant, at 2300 Cottondale Lane in the Riverdale area, is open for lunch and dinner on weekdays and for dinner only on Saturday. Call 663-2677. UPDATE CHI’S Much of the same menu as its older and larger sibling at Markham and Shackleford, although this one doesn’t have the Sunday brunch buffet or dim sum. Though it’s at a busy intersection, it somehow seems a quiet, neighborhood sort of place. Ample portions. Try the Sichuan Chicken and Wrinkled String Beans.
