Mike Selig's Vermillion is now offering cocktail parties, receptions and private dinners on the rooftop of the Capital Commerce Center. Ac-cording to a news release, there's no extra charge to use the rooftop space, which is open to groups from five to 50. So Restaurant-Bar's Chef Marshall Smith
leads the River Market Cooking Club on Saturday, Sept. 13. The monthly demonstration is held in the third floor of the River Market. For $10, payable upon entry, participants get to watch Smith prepare some signature dish and ask ques-tions about the preparation. Post-demo, there will be sampling.
