Little Rock’s Jermain Taylor, who won the world middleweight boxing title from Bernard Hopkins in July, puts that title on the line against Hopkins on Saturday, Dec. 3, in Las Vegas.

While HBO will carry the fight through pay-per-view (available via local cable or satellite providers for $49.95), there will be at least one gathering spot involving the Arkansas Times to see the fight.

The Riverdale 10 movie complex, which carried the July fight, will again show the Taylor-Hopkins battle on the theater’s biggest screen. Admission is $22 in advance and $30 on Saturday. The screen is 40-feet wide and the sound is digital.

The entire HBO boxing card will begin at 8 p.m.

“We’re proud to give Jermain Taylor fans of all ages the opportunity to support him as he defends his title” said Nathan Bibb, the Riverdale 10 Cinemas’ general manager. “I just can’t think of a better place to watch the biggest fight around than on one of the biggest screens in town surrounded by so many other Jermain Taylor fans.”

Call 396-9468 for tickets or buy them in person at the Riverdale 10 box office at 2600 Cantrell Road in the Riverdale Shopping Center.
