Doors open at 6 p.m. and tip-off for the NBA Developmental League game is 7:05 p.m. Tickets start at $10. Call 975-4667.

The RimRockers, led by Donta Smith and former Arkansas Razorback Kareem Reid, began the week with a 7-3 record.

‘Hornucopia’ benefit returns to Juanita’s
Four veteran rock and soul cover bands will perform Friday, Dec. 23, at Juanita’s in the fourth annual “Hornucopia” event, a benefit for the “Play It Again, Arkansas” program that brings music instruments to public schools.

Admission is a musical instrument or $15 and the show is open to ages 18 and up.

Leavenworth kicks off the show at 8 p.m. Also on the bill are Paula Montgomery-Reed and the Bona Fide Band, Beowulf and the GroanUps, each getting an hour on the stage.

“Play It Again, Arkansas” is a nonprofit organization coordinated by John Caldwell, the Arkansas Department of Education’s public school program adviser. The purpose is to provide musical instruments for students who want to participate in school orchestras.
