More than 30 restaurants, caterers and bakeries were scheduled to be supplying their wares for the 25th annual Soup Sunday, scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 19, at the Embassy Suites on Financial Centre Parkway in West Little Rock.
DUE TO BAD WEATHER, THE EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL SUNDAY, FEB. 26.
The event runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under. All proceeds benefit the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families.
Participating vendors include: Acadia, Baptist Health, Bruno’s Little Italy, Bubba and Garcia’s, Capitol Bistro, Cafe Bossa Nova, Ciao Baci, Chi’s Chinese Cuisine, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Community Bakery, Reno’s Argenta Cafe, RSVP Catering, Rivendall, Sekisui, Serenity Farm Bread, St. Vincent Medical Center, Faded Rose, Purple Cow, the Villa, Vieux Carre, Dave’s Place, Dave and Ray’s Diner, Embassy Suites, Lilly’s Dim Sum Then Some, Loca Luna, Mamma’s Manna, Mr. Mason’s Pit Bar-B-Q, Olive Garden, Old Mill Bread Co., On the Border and the Peabody Little Rock.
The youngsters can enjoy a Kids Room with a performance by magician Derek Rose. Live entertainment for adults will be provided by Little Joe and the BK’s, and Soup Sunday also includes a silent auction.
