RiverBilly, another 2006 finalist, landed a choice spot Saturday at the amphitheater leading into Rebecca Lynn Howard and then Dwight Yoakam. And Starroy, a Jonesboro based jam-alternative band, will play Sunday at 8:15 p.m. on the Kidzone Stage.
Other bands with Showcase appearances that are in the lineup are Sandbox Lizards, Sean Rock, the Cosmonauts, Further Down and 2005 winner the Odds, placed between Morris Day and the Time and the Doobie Brothers on Sunday at North Little Rock’s Bud Stage. Also, the Boondogs, which include musicians who’ve appeared in the Showcase, play Sunday at the Triple-S Alarm Stage at 3:30 p.m. before Chris Denny, another top local act drawing lots of notice in the music community
