Riverfest fast facts
Hours: 5-11 p.m. Fri. (5-8 p.m. in Kidzone); 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Sat. (10 a.m.-8 p.m. Kidzone); noon-10 p.m. Sun. (noon-8 p.m. Kidzone).
Admission: $10 tickets are available at all Harvest Foods stores and www.riverfestarkansas.com before May 25 or while supplies last; $15 at the gate (cash only). Admission ticket must be exchanged for an admission button (good for all three days) at the festival gates. Children ages 6 and under accompanied by an adult are admitted free. Riverfest Amphitheatre admission is limited to 10,500 people on first-come, first-served basis.
Parking: Unless you arrive early in the day when downtown parking is more accessible, take the CATA bus shuttles. The $1 roundtrip fare will take you from War Memorial Stadium on West Markham to the Little Rock gate at La Harpe Boulevard, and riders from 24th and Main streets in North Little Rock will be dropped off at the North Little Rock gate, a change from past years. Shuttle service starts at 4:30 p.m. Fri., 9:30 a.m. Sat., and 11:30 a.m. Sun. and will operate until 30 to 45 minutes following the close of the last event each day. Full fare is collected at the starting point; children ages 2 and younger ride free.
Food and beverage purchases: Cash is not accepted by food and drink vendors; non-refundable “RiverMoney” is required for purchase and can be exchanged for cash at any Bancorp South RiverBank throughout the festival site. Souvenir items, some artwork and River Market purchases may be bought with cash.
Alcohol: Legal I.D. wristbands are required for purchase and can be obtained at various North Point Auto Group I.D. stations on site by showing a valid driver’s license or military I.D.
What not to bring: Coolers, beverages, food, pets (unless specially trained to assist the disabled), audio recording devices, professional photography equipment, video recorders, skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, skates or weapons. Lawn chairs, bags and backpacks, and umbrellas are allowed but are subject to search.
Water: While bottled water is available for “RiverMoney” purchase, five free water stations also are located on site.
First aid: Two stations, one on the west side of Riverfest Amphitheatre and one inside the North Shore Riverwalk in North Little Rock, will be available.
