Comedian Chris Killian will be at the Loony Bin through Saturday, July 5, 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., $7-$10. Atlanta rapper and Bad Boy Records cast-off Yung Joc (“It’s Goin’ Down”) will be at Club Trois at 9 p.m.

Revolution will host the Sizzlin’ Summer Jam, featuring Mike Walker, Tricia Reed and Darril “Harp” Edwards, 8 p.m., $10 adv., $12 day of. Nashville indie rock group Fly Golden Eagle will be at Stickyz, 9 p.m., $7. The Big Damn Horns will be at The Joint, 9 p.m., $7, and at White Water Tavern, Velvet Kente will present “The Afrobeatdown,” featuring DJ sets by Joshua Asante and DJ Prophet and live African Dance by Kazi and Ikesha, 10 p.m., $7.
