The “Arkansas Chamber Singers Fall Concert: Love’s Soaring Spirit” features American composer Stephen Paulus’s new work “The Furnace of Love’s Fire,” St. James United Methodist Church, 7:30 p.m., $10-$15. Nashville rockers Modoc return for a show at Maxine’s with Open Fields. Modoc also plays at Bear’s Den Pizza in Conway on Saturday.
