Soprano Allison Stanford joins local opera students during “A Night of Opera and Musical Theatre,” First Presbyterian Church, 7:30 p.m., free. The networking party Big Downtown Thursdays carries on with its third installment at the River Market Pavilion, 5-8 p.m. Ted Ludwig Jazz Trio maintains its regular gig at the Afterthought, 8 p.m., $5.



Country rocker Bleu Edmonson is at Sticky Fingerz with the Dirt Drifters, 9 p.m., $8. Up-and-coming local rockers Plu headline at Juanita's with Farewell Flight, Ethan Durelle and Radio Sky, 10 p.m., $7. Rhythm junkies can get their tempo fix at the Drum Addict Dance Party at Downtown Music, 8 p.m. Local rock heroes Go Fast bring the noise at White Water, 9 p.m., $5. Country singer/songwriter Cliff Hudson is at Cornerstone, 9:30 p.m., $5. Molten Lava oozes from atop the hotel at the Peabody River Top Party, 8 p.m., $5. Muscle cars, street rods, classic rides, trucks and motorcycles are on display in the River Market pavilions for Cruisin' in the Rock, 6-9 p.m., free. Poets, acoustic musicians and storytellers perform at “Stanza Extravaganza,” an open mic event at Arkansas Community Arts Cooperative, 7 p.m., $5 suggested donation.
