Get your goat. Artist Eleanor Dickinson confirms that she is opening a store, The White Goat, with sister-in-law Anna Dickinson in the space formerly occupied by Pflugrad’s Antiques. “Planning this has definitely been an adventure,” says Eleanor. “We open around September 1st. We’re really looking forward to this; it’s right up our alley: European antiques/reproductions, all light-painted furniture and accessories, rural and formal together. It’s going to be really cool.”
Jewelry for a cause. Proceeds from the “Speak” necklace by Dawanna Young, a Northwest Arkansas jewelry designer living in Nashville, Tenn., benefit Autism Speaks.
