Country superstar LeAnn Rimes will sing her popular hits and Christmas favorites with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra in a concert Saturday, Dec. 4, at Robinson Center Music Hall. Regular ASO conductor David Itkin will sit on the sidelines, turning the baton over to Rimes’ personal conductor, Frank McNamara, renowned for his work with the Irish Tenors, while Rimes will blend her regular band with the Symphony. Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets range from $36 to $101. Call 666-1761. The Grammy Award-winner has released a new Christmas album, “What a Wonderful World,” with three original songs and eight traditional holiday hits. On the pop/country charts, Rimes, who hit the scene at age 13 in 1996, is known for her mega hit “How Do I Live,” which was the longest running single on the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut album, “Blue,” has sold 8 million copies. Expect to hear such holiday classics as “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “A Different Kind of Christmas,” “White Christmas,” “All I Want for Christmas,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “What a Wonderful World,” “The Christmas Song,” “Just Love Me,” “Miss You Like Christmas” and “O Holy Night.”
