MTVU had added the video for “Real Love,” the lead single off the American Princes' “Other People,” to its rotation according to the Princes' Collins Kilgore. Matthew Bradley, who also made the band's video for “Never Grow Old,” is responsible for this one, too. “Real Love” is one of four videos the Princes plan to release in conjunction with this album. Look for one from Deluxe 36, the local production team, for the song “Gravel.”

Billy Bob Thornton has a new album out June 10, though it won't be released under his name. The Boxmasters, a three-piece featuring Thornton on drums and vocals, J.D. Andrew on guitar and Mike Butler on lead guitar, lap steel and dobro, plan to pay homage to everyone from the Animals to the Wilburn Brothers. “Electric hillbilly music” is how Thornton describes it. The band covers “Iron Man” and “The Kids Are Alright” and delivers originals like “Shit List.”

“War Eagle, Arkansas” will kick off the Little Rock Film Festival on Friday, May 15. Producer/writer Vincent Insalaco wrote the story based on a relationship between his son, an athlete struggling with a speech impediment, and his best friend, a boy suffering from cerebral palsy. Filmed in locations around Arkansas, the movie stars Brian Dennehy and Mare Winningham. Check the Times' entertainment blog Rock Candy for a trailer and more schedule news on the festival.

The headliners for Riverfest are set. On Friday, Huey Lewis & the News, Paul Thorn, Shooter Jennings, Merle Haggard and Arrested Development perform. Saturday features Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen, Better Than Ezra, One Republic and Jonny Lang. And Sunday, Chaka Khan, .38 Special, ZZ Top and Robert Earl Keen play.
