Mid-Year Best of 2008
1.  "The Visitor"
2.  "Wall-E"
3.  "Iron Man"
4.  "Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired"
5.  "War Eagle, Arkansas"

Best of the rest:  "Stop-Loss," "Cloverfield," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "Kung Fu Panda," "Redbelt," "Smart People," and "Silhouette City."

Haven't seen, but will:  "My Blueberry Nights," "The Edge of Heaven," "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day," "Chicago 10," "The She Found Me," "Mongol," "Encounters at the End of the World," "City of Men," "Shine a Light," "Young @ Heart," "War, Inc.," "U2 3D" "Trumbo" and "Taxi to the Dark Side."

Mid-Year Worst of 2008
1.  "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull"
2.  "Made of Honor"
3.  "Vantage Point"
4.  "Fool's Gold"
5.  "Be Kind Rewind"

Not going to pay to see:  "You Don't Mess With the Zohan," "The Love Guru," "The Happening," "Speed Racer," "Get Smart," "Semi-Pro," "Drillbit Taylor," "10,000 B.C.," "What Happens in Vegas," "Baby Mama" and "Rambo."
