The reviews are in and many of the major publications (Hollywood Reporter, Variety, LA Times, Rolling Stone, USA Today, Ebert & Roeper, Time, Newsweek, NY Times, WSJ, Washington Post) gave it very favorable reviews. It's sitting at an 83% cream of the crop rating on rottentomatoes.com.
Lets see what it does at the box office, but my guess is that this locks it up for a best picture nomination as well as several technical nominations. The script doesn't get much love, which opens the door for in writing (adaptation) category.
