Is anyone surprised that Tom Terminella plans to run against Lioneld Jordan this November? After seeing his big-ass semi sitting by the railroad tracks, with the Terminella name on it in huge letters, visible from so many directions, for so many months now?

No, you’re not. Really, you aren’t. It was kind of like a mini movie preview.

I just wonder if, once he actually files to run, if he’ll move the truck, or claim it is there for legitimate business reasons?

At any rate, Tom Terminella hasn’t left as much of a carbon footprint on the Infernal Internet as many others who would seek public office, but I was able to find this amusing story from several years ago:

“One of the Strangest Lawsuits in Arkansas History”

And yes, for the terminally humorless, the “carbon footprint” line was a joke, as that great American philosopher Foghorn leghorn might say.

Ms. Holly Near’s CD “Singer in the Storm” was all the inspiration I needed this morning.
