On the way to Oklahoma for the probate hearing onTracy’s mother’s will, and I picked up a USA Today in the motel lobby. I always enjoy the “Across the USA” section. Here is the Friday listing for Arkansas:

Huntsville – Authorities in Madison County are working to find out who killed and skinned a dog, then draped it over the gate of a local local high school teacher. Police say the person who left the dog apparently believed the teacher had reprted another teacher to the Humane Society for killing a raccoon with a nail gun before a class demonstration on how to skin an animal.

In almost any other city in America, folks would be up in arms, practically demanding a door-to-door search to find the sick person who did this.

Who knows what they will do in Hunstville?
