Rex DeLoney’s exhibition “The Brotherhood of Color” at Argenta Gallery (413 Main St. in North Little Rock) features mixed media works about the former slaves who served on Pullman Cars at the end of the 19th century. That’s one show you won’t want to miss at tonight’s after-hours art walk in Argenta, 5-8 p.m. Also up: the “23rd Anniversary Exhibition” at Greg Thompson Fine Art (429 Main), featuring work by top regional artists, including Glennray Tutor; “The Art of Place in Arkansas,” works by Yang-Luo Branch, at the Thea Foundation (401 Main); “The Games We Play,” sports-themed works at Core Brewery (411 Main); photographs by Gary Cawood at the Laman Library’s Argenta Branch (420 Main); Chris Masssengill’s “Sock Monster Problems” at Mugs Cafe (506 Main); and work by Barry Thomas at his studio (711 Main). Art-making is going on in the studios of the Innovation Hub, 204 E. Broadway.
