Memphis duo 8Ball & MJG are headlining U.N.I.T.Y. (United Neighbors in Touch with Youth), a concert set for Friday, July 14, at the Revolution Music Room organized in the aftermath of the mass shooting at Power Ultra Lounge earlier this month.
The Rodney Block Collective, Rod D, Big Piph (Epiphany Morrow), Young Freq and Stephan James share the bill, and organizers say door proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas.
The concert, organizer Michael Brown said, is a way to “come together in solidarity to heal our community through the power of music … . Let’s do some good, heal some wounds, and make some money for the kids.”
General admission is $30 in advance, $40 at the door, and VIP tickets are $50.
