So much art. So much beer.

Facing off tonight for 2nd Friday Art Night (5-8 p.m.) at the Historic Arkansas Museum (200 E. Third St.) are hardline abstractions by Louis Watts and flowing organic-form inspired sculptures by Robert Lemming ("Fucoid Arrangements"). The Marchese Hendricks Project featuring Jessica Lauren will perform live and Bubba's Brewing Co. will be whetting whistles.

Then, at Arkansas Capital Corp. (200 River Market Ave.), hoist a brew by Flyway Brewing Co. at "Naturals," a group show featuring pastels by well-known artist/teacher Virmarie DePoyster, drawings by UALR artist in residence Heidi Hogden, portrait artist Logan

You may have missed the Butler Center Galleries' “Twists and Strands: Exploring the Edges,” ceramics by Barbara Satterfield and jewelry by Michele Fox. The installation, tucked away in the little mezzanine gallery, combines the woven jewelry of Fox with rock and shell and coral forms created in fired clay by Satterfield (401 President Clinton Ave.) The nearby Cox Creative Center hosts "Little Rock Young Artists" and the Matt McLeod Gallery (108 W. Sixth St.) features work by gallery ar

Those last three venues are beer free, but the Old Statehouse Museum is offering both Salty Dogs — of the musical variety —  beer from Stone's Throw Brewing.
