"Charles Harrington — the Journey" is the featured exhibition tonight at Greg Thompson Fine Art, which like other galleries in Argenta will be open 5-8 p.m. for the Third Friday Argenta ArtWalk. Thompson Fine Art, 429 Main St., is bound to have libations to keep you warm while perusing "Winter Colors" (above) and works by other artists in the gallery.

Virmarie DePoyster's exhibition "Revelation," 18 pastel and mixed media works home from their debut at the U.S. Embassy in Rome, continues at Argenta Gallery at 413 Main St. Along with DePoyster's drawings will be paintings, glass, woodwork and jewelry by Jennifer Wilson, Steve Rockwell, Marianne Hennigar, Ed Pennebaker, Gene Sparling, Angela Davis Johnson, Vickie Hendrix-Siebenmorgen and Christie Young.

The Argenta branch of the Laman Library, 420 Main St., features “36th Street Art Exhibition,” show and sale of work by the clients of the United Cerebral Palsy Education Center. Artist Rachel Trusty has taken over the exhibition schedule at the Argenta branch, a good thing for all.

"Blue Lines and Black Ink: Comic Art," continues at Mugs Cafe, 515 Main St., featuring original drawings by John Lucas and Dusty Higgins. There will be copies of their books ("Deadpool," "Planet of the Apes," "Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer") for sale.

The North Little Rock Heritage Center, nee the North Little Rock History Commission, at 506 Main St. will feature prints by Tim Jacobs as part of its Christmas exhibit, and Claytime Pottery at 417 Main St. will be open. The House of Art at 108 E. Fourth St. will have entertainment at 8 p.m.; showtime at 9 p.m.
