Oklahoma artists Tony Tiger, a member of the Sac and Fox tribe, and Anita Fields, an Osage, are showing work informed by their Native American culture at the Walton Arts Center’s Joy Pratt Lambert Gallery.
“Linking the Past to the Present” features ceramics by Fields, a potter and installation artist, whose designs are abstractions of traditional Osage motifs. Tiger combines historic photographs and tribal designs in works on canvas. Manuela Well-Off-Man, curator at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, curated the exhibition.
