is about, that and the presentation of work by big-name African-American artists. The exhibition opens Nov. 21 and runs through Feb. 2. A 2014 wall calendar that features some of the work will be released Nov. 28. Here's the list of artists and their medium:

There will be two receptions Dec. 13, one at 1:30 p.m. and the other from 5-8 p.m., for 2nd Friday Art Night. Gallery director Garbo Hearne
will give a talk on the work at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15.
