The Historic Arkansas Museum opens the exhibit "Figurations: works by Stephen Cefalo and Sandra Sell" today and musician Bonnie Montgomery be at HAM tonight for the 2nd Friday Art Night reception from 5-8 p.m. Cefalo — who was on the cover of the Arkansas Times' "Best of" issue for his selection by readers as Best Artist — paints figuratively in the style and palette of the Old Masters. Sell is a wood artist and apprentice to sculptor Robyn Horn. HAM is at 2nd and Cumberland.

Also tonight: Jason Smith, Diane Harper and Dominique Simmons are showing work in an exhibition called "Visual Tales" at Arkansas Capital Corp. Group at 200 River Market Ave.; the exhibit "Native Americans Arkansas," artifacts from the University of Arkansas Museum, opens in Concordia Hall of the Arkansas Studies Institute, 401 President Clinton Ave., the exhibit "Equinox" by UALR students continues at the Cox Creative Center, 120 River Market; and EMILE and other artists are exhibiting at Gallery 221 & Art Studios 221 in the Pyramid Place building.

The award-winning indie film "Pillow" will be screened at the Old State House at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and there will be a Q and A afterward by directors Miles and Joshua Miller. 

Works by the ArtGroup Maumelle will be at the Courtyard Marriott at 521 Clinton, and Paper Scissors Little Rock will be open for 2nd Friday. A free trolley will transport gallery-goers to all venues.
