Fiber artists Barbara Cade, Louise Halsey, Jane Hartfield, Deborah Kuster, Karen McInturff, Carol Small and Jeri Hillis are showing their work at the Blue Rock Studio Gallery, 262 Hideaway Hills Drive, Hot Springs, contemporaneous with the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival Oct. 12-21. The studio will be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. They're calling the show "Hanging by a Thread." 

There will also be felting workshops from 9 a.m. to noon. Call 501-262-4065 to reserve. 

Here's how to get to Cade's studio: 

From Hot Springs: East on Malvern Road to Akers Road. Turn right, drive ½ mile. Hideaway Hills goes off to the left. Drive ½ mile, see BLUE decorations on right.

From Little Rock: I-30 to 270W (exit 98A) to Akers Road. Then follow above instructions.
