Time to get your "Toddlers and Tiaras" on, Arkansas! The Arkansas State Fair has announced dates for their "Little Mr. and Miss Arkansas State Fair"
pageants. Entry forms are available at this link
to get your little snowflake registered is October 1. Entry is free. Check-in for registered pageant contestants will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12. Hit the previous link for more information.
The age groups for "LIttle Mr." boys are 0-2 years for the "Baby Mister" category, and 3-5 years for "Little Mister." "Little Miss" girls get a lot more categories, with categories of 13-24 months ("Toddler Miss"), 2-3 years ("Tiny Miss"), 4-6 years ("Little Miss"), 7-9 years ("Petite Miss"), and 10-12 years ("Preteen Miss"). Deadline for entries is Oct. 1. The rules, seen here,
say that makeup is allowed for girls, "but should be age appropriate and used with desecration." We think they mean "discretion," but we actually like the typo in this context (see video above).

: As always, the Arkansas State Fair's unofficial "Miss Worst Choice for a Tube Top," "Little Miss Too Drunk to Ride the Tilt-a-Whirl," "Mr. Probable Registered Sex Offender," and "Mr. Nacho Cheese on His Beer Gut" pageants (ages 18-81 long, long years) will be held on the midway.
