The Historic Arkansas Museum will once more celebrate the Frontier Fourth of July with a parade, living history, crafts and a reading of the Declaration of Independence from 2-4 p.m. Thursday.
There will be refreshments and free parking at Third and Cumberland. There will also be an appearance by the Redcoats; forewarned is forearmed. Also: watch out for the traveling salesman displaying his "authentic" relics from George Washington: His wig! His wooden teeth! The axe he used to cut down his father's cherry tree! This guy would not tell a lie!
