The 8th annual Arkansas Sculpture Invitational Show and Sale comes to the Argenta Community Theater this weekend, starting with an Argenta ArtWalk preview show from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, June 21, with hors d’oeuvres and cash bar. The show continues from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. There is no charge to see the work.

The show, sponsored by the Arkansas Sculptors Guild and the Argenta Arts Foundation, is in North Little Rock for the first time. Previous shows have been in Morrilton and Little Rock. Theater is at 405 Main St., next door to the Thea Foundation at 401 Main, which will also host an Argenta ArtWalk event, a showing of work by Nick Leopoulos, and Greg Thompson Fine Art at 429 Main, which continues its “Best of the South” exhibition.
