Man, some days they just keep coming. Today is one of those days. After the jump, check out a brand new video from our favorite pianist/composer/opera singer/honky-tonk tunesmith, Bonnie Montgomery.
The tune, "Tobacco Farmer," is a rollicking 2:22 kiss-off featuring Montgomery's clear, beautiful singing and some blisterin' guit-pickin' from, well, I don't know. Who is that stranger in the black stetson hat? Reminds me of this fella. I've seen him hanging around various sheds and garages across the south for years now. The lyrics are by Kara Marie Bibb and it was recorded by Montgomery and Nathan Howdeshell, of Gossip renown. Perhaps he's that man in black. You can buy the single here or here.
On a side note, I really, really hope that's Bonnie's bright red IROC-Z.
Check out the video after the jump.
