The Hot Springs Music Festival recently announced the schedule for its 17th season, which is themed "The Spice of Life."
The festival runs from June 3-16 and features performances from The Cassatt String Quartet of New York and Rick "Mr. CutTime" Robinson, bassist of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, who will perform his "modernized classical" music at restaurants and will lead a progressive concert down Bathhouse Row, playing on the streets and in the historic buildings.
"We will continue to present the time-tested masters works that one would expect from a classical music festival," Todd Cranson, general director said in a press release. "But we are also programming new music that young, classically-trained musicians are developing under the influence of our ever-more-connected world."
