The 2012 Small Works on Paper exhibition, featuring work no larger than 24-by-24 inches, has opened at the William F. Laman Public Library at 2801 Orange St., NLR. Forty entries by thirty-nine artists were selected for the show by by juror Marcia Goldenstein, a professor of drawing and painting at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

There will be a reception for the artists Friday from 6-8 p.m.

Purchase awards went to William Barksdale of Cotter; Ginger Grahn of Paragould; Neal Harrington of Russellville; Dennis McCann of Maumelle; Jason McCann of Maumelle, and Mike Means of El Dorado. Other artists with work in the show:
