White Water Tavern hosts a benefit for Lucie's Place, a shelter for homeless LGBTQ young adults in Little Rock. There'll be live music from Montgomery Trucking, Arkopolis and Jenny Horton, as well as a silent auction starting at 7 p.m.

Lucious Spiller plays happy hour at Copeland's, from 6-9 p.m.

Get your learnin' on at The Afterthought for Science Cafe: "Nature Centers: What's Up in the Natural State." The program features Ken Forman of Arkansas Game & Fish and the Witt Stephens, Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center, Courtney Todd, park interpreter at Pinnacle Mountain State Park and Eric Maynard, AG&F, facility director at the Gov. Mike Huckabee Delta Rivers Nature Center in Pine Bluff. It starts at 7 p.m. and is free. Stick around for the weekly Tuesday jam session with Carl Mouton at 9 p.m.

If you're down in South Arkansas or feel like making a last-minute road trip, The Oak Ridge Boys play El Dorado Municipal Auditorium at 7:30 p.m., $15-$35.

It's Tuesday, which means it's time for Tales from the South at Starving Artist Cafe. This week, the storytellers include Excy Johnston, Melanie Bowles and Christine Henderson. There will be music from The Salty Dogs and Mark Simpson, 7 p.m., $7.

Local piano maestro John Q. Willis will perform songs from his upcoming release, "The Other World EP," as well as selections from a larger work called "Salvation Songs," at UALR's Stell a Boyle Smith Concert Hall, 7:30 p.m., free.
