The Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute will begin monthly screenings at the Historic Malco Theatre starting this weekend. On Friday, HSDFI screens “The Search for Michael Rockefeller” at 5 p.m., “Big in Bollywood” at 5:05 p.m., “Sky Dancer” at 7 p.m. and a shorts program featuring “The Vacuum Kid,” “Unlikely Treasures” and “Stan vs. Squirrel.” at 7:05 p.m.

On Saturday, “Happy” and “Death by Medicine” will screen at 3:05 p.m. and “Mississippi Innocence” and “All Me: The Life and Times of Winfred Rembert” at 5 p.m. At 7 p.m., catch some stand-up comedy from Angry Patrick, with Laura Ratliff and Dave DeBeaux.

The films are $5-$7 and the comedy show is $8-$10.
