Now for something fishy

Looking for art news on Facebook, I saw a series of images used along with the announcement of Matt McLeod's show and sale Friday, May 20, 5:30-9 p.m. at Pulaski Heights Christian Church, 4724 Hillcrest Ave. Among the images: "Koi." It reminded me of another koi painting, "Coy Koi" by Pat Langewis, in the MSW show at the HAM. And so, instead of doing the work I ought to be doing, I started looking for other Arkansas artists' paintings inspired by Koi. I'm going to post them the easy way, below, starting with McLeod's "Koi."

  • Matt McLeod's "Koi"

Then Langewis':

Then Sandy Hubler's:

And Debra Sisson's:

And Cheryl Kellar's"

And, for an abstract take, Nathaniel Daily's:

Back to work.
