It's official! Chef Lee Richardson of Ashley's at the Capital and Capital Bar & Grill has been selected by readers in Food and Wine Magazine's competition for Top New Chef of 2011: Midwest. We can argue semantics about why Little Rock was included in the Midwest instead of the South — but there's no arguing about Chef Lee's awesomeness on this competition — he took 38.41 percent of the vote in a field of 10, with the closest contender being Chef Erik Anderson of Sea Change in Minneapolis.
