Hot Springs gets a night of some of the best Little Rock has to offer when local singer/songwriter J.R. Top brings down his Missouri-based band, Sweetwater Abilene, to Maxine's for a night of Southern sounds alongside Brother Andy and His Big Damn Mouth and Big Silver, 9 p.m., $5.

Former New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Kyle Turley trades in his helmet for a guitar tonight at Revolution, 9 p.m., $7.

Americana troubadour Kevin Gordon lands in White Water Tavern, 10 p.m.
