Taj Mahal's Jay Riaz writes in response to this week's review of his new Indian restaurant, which noted a number of service glitches.
I would like to thank you for trying our restaurant and take a moment to sincerely apologize for your experience here at the Taj Mahal. We had been working on our menu and kitchen staff to be set for the first few weeks after opening. I would like to assure you we have worked out the glitches on our current menu. Presently we are working on a new redesigned menu that will offer more variety in Indian Cuisine. We have modified our serving staff, adding more attentive and energetic servers and hostesses to better serve our customers.
