Gallery 26 brings three photographers together for the fourth time when it opens "95% in the Moment" tomorrow with a reception from 7 to 10 p.m.
Adrienne Taylor, Rita Henry and Nancy Nolan come at photography from different directions, but all share the philosophy that "the photographer is 95% in the moment and 5% in the camera" when working. Henry has used an 80-year-old view camera salvaged from a garage for this exhibit, giving her contemporary subjects a nostalgic look. Taylor's work includes black and white portraits of both man and beast (see "Chicago" and "Rescue"); Nolan is focusing on architectural themes with her tinted shots of abandoned structures.
A great show will be made greater by music from Kevin Kerby and Todd Beene. Gallery 26 is at 2601 Kavanaugh Blvd.
