The long-whispered about rally we told you about last week for the West Memphis Three, originally slated for the Quapaw Quarter United Methodist Church, has been moved to Robinson Center Music Hall, according to a press release just released by the organizers at Arkansas Take Action.
We understand the move came about because of technical and sound issues at the QQUMC.
Tickets for the Saturday, August 28, “Voices for Justice” rally go on sale Wednesday, August 18th at 9:00 a.m. on Ticketmaster, all Ticketmaster outlets and at the Celebrity Attractions office at 300 South Spring St.
And for the folks who didn’t want to spring for a $95 ticket—good news. They’re $25 a pop now.
Eddie Vedder and Natalie Maines are still scheduled to perform alongside other “special guests.”
Performances from “special guests,” huh? Johnny Depp? Axl Rose? Maybe an acoustic set by Marilyn Manson?
Speculate away! We sure will.
