The caramel pie, shown above, is one such delight. Not caramel as in what you get out of a bag at Halloween but true burnt sugar custard goodness topped with an appropriate and delightful foam of a meringue, tinged with just a brush of caramelization, a perfect little piece of awesomeness.
But then, there's the egg custard...
Yeah, the egg custard pie, a perfect blend of light and eggy, sweet and creamy, a very wonderful example of the pie and much appreciated. No, I couldn't manage eating it too, not after the Keo Klassic I managed to savor. But I did get it to-go, and consumed it with fervor at a later point.
