As we reported earlier, Doron Ofir Casting, the agency behind "Jersey Shore," is swinging through Arkansas on their casting call road trip for their new show-in-the-making, "Party Down South." They'll set up shop at Electric Cowboy on Thursday, July 8 from 9 p.m. to midnight for the potential new reality stars to-be. (Hit that link for more information.)
But auditioners be warned: Like its yankee forebearer, this show is a lightning rod for controversy by nature. In fact, the project has already begun to bend some spurs. Just yesterday, Fox News called it, in so many words, "rednecksploitation," panning the show in their everlasting quest to piss off an entire nation by being a stupid dick towards just about everything.
Update: I'm still fill-my-trousers pumped for this show.
