Jeff Nichols, the Little Rock native who wrote and directed “Shotgun Stories,” is currently at work on a follow-up in northern Ohio. Michael Shannon, the Oscar nominated actor who starred in “Shotgun Stories,” is again in the lead. And Adam Stone returns as director of photography. Jessica Chastain, who stars in Terrence Malick’s forthcoming (fingers-crossed) “Tree of Life,” co-stars along with Kathy Baker. Ohio native Tyler Davidson is producing.

So far, the only coverage I’ve seen has been from Ohio newspapers and TV news.

There’s video from news station WEWS on the production. It’s “look, there are grip trucks and big lights!”-type coverage to a comic degree, but if you can make it to the end, there’s a brief interview with Nichols, who says, cryptically, that the film is “about storms and horizon lines and clouds.”
