Worthy of mention: the exhaustive review of Emmy's German Restaurant in Ft. Smith by our blogging colleague FortSmithEats. This delectable piece of Black Forest Cake was enough to make my stomach start rumbling... our blogfriend also sampled something that was hard for me to identify at first... but you just gotta see, a dish called Schweinshenxe. This is a new incarnation of Emmy's; new location, new owners, but apparently the recipes are still intact.Fancy Pants Foodie, a perennial favorite of ours, headed to the Arkansas Womens Show to bask in the butter-soaked awe of Paula Deen and company. Definitely a must-read.
