Cleveland alt-country heroes and eternal Little Rock favorites, The Magpies (above),  come to White Water tonight. Last Chance Records will record the show for another in their "Live From White Water Tavern" series, 9:30 p.m.

Fayetteville's AMP summer series brings femme-folk legends Indigo Girls to the Arkansas Music Pavillion; Fayetteville's Tiffany Christopher supports, 7:30 p.m., $35.

Kevin Kerby plays an increasingly rare solo show tonight at Vino's with Nashville's John Webber, 8 p.m., $8.

Juanita's hosts a great night of Central Arkansas music with bar-rockers Jonathan Wilkins & The Reparations, Max's new band of long-tenured rockers, Dave Raymond & Present Company and Hot Springs' buzzy singer-songwriter/guitar hero Andrew Anderson, 9 p.m., $6.

And for the pre-gamers eager to go out, the Travs face off against the San Antonio Missions, 7:10 p.m., $6-$12.
