Today, that is. I don't believe I've ever been pestered so much as I have by readers wanting to know when Buffalo Wild Wings on Highway 10 would be open. Well, folks, it is. Today's the official opening. I happened to be able to go out yesterday for the training session, and sampled some of the wings offered.
The hubster and I both liked the Asian BBQ wings, which were sauced somewhere between General Tso's and the sweet sauce at Rivertowne BBQ. The Parmesan Garlic wings were a little odd -- we're used to a dry rub application, but these were served up very wet. The mildest among the wings, the Sweet BBQ sauced ones, is sweet indeed without a lot of spice -- almost like bean sauce.
Also liked the flavored lemonades... I tried the Huckleberry Lemonade and the Mango Lemonade and liked them both. The hubster went for the Honey Bacon BBQ Burger and thought it was great, even if it was a little overdone.
Well, it's open, out at 14800 West Cantrell Road. You can call ahead to (501) 868-5279. My suggestion would be to check the menu on the chain's website before you go -- it's sure to be busy today and it tends to get a little loud inside.
