There's a place I adore in New Orleans' Central Business District, a block off the streetcar line tucked into a rescued warehouse. A place where we go to chill out, watch great music and acts, and have fine coctails and eats.
For some reason, SpeakEasy reminds me very much of Le Chat Noir. Same dark interior, same eclectic music wafting through the crowd, same laid back yet hep ideas on food and drink. Can this Louisiana Street dive really bring the slightly Bohemian spirit to downtown? More on the potentials of this supper club over on Tie Dye Travels.
