The North Little Rock native's one of the latest additions to the cast of "Tough Trade," a Nashville-based drama created/produced by novelist and TV writer Chris Offut ("Weeds," "True Blood"). "Weeds" creator Jenji Kohan and T. Bone Burnett are also on-board as executive producers.

It'll be the first original show for Epix, a new pay-network owned by Paramount, Lions Gate and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The network is currently only available on Verizon's FiOS TV service, which according to Reuters is only available to about 2.5 million households. Comcast has said it's not interested in having the network.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the show's about three generations of a Nashville music dynasty (Sam Shepard, Cary Elwes, Lucas Black), "whose penchant for drink, debauchery and divorce has left it on the verge of bankruptcy."

Adams will play the fifth wife of Sam Shepard's Linwood Tucker. Trace Adkins is also among the cast.

The show should debut sometime in 2010.

Adams latest project is a music video for emo-stars Dashboard Confessional. It's about finding your inner child amongst freaks in New Orleans. Weighty.
