The Felice Brothers.

From the Catskills, the Felice Brothers play a rough-hewn folk-rock at Sticky Fingerz that's earned them comparisons to the Band, 9:30 p.m., $10.

Popular Houston country singer Cory Morrow, who comes to Revolution, fits within the Red Dirt music scene that sits, raucously, outside the typical Nashville strictures, 9 p.m., $10.

Dallas' Chant blends blues, funk, rock and soul in the headlining spot at Cajun's, 9 p.m., $5.

Local author Suzi Parker picks up where she left off in her book “Sex in the South” with the release of the Sex in the South issue of her new SuZine. She celebrates the release of the zine at Satellite with help from local R&B crooner Sean Fresh, 6:30 p.m., free ($5 for the zine).

Crush Wine Bar becomes “The Chocolate Bar” with performances by Onyx (local neo-soul, not insane NYC rap) and standout local saxophonist J. White, 9 p.m., $10.

The Rex Bell Trio plays the Afterthought's Thursday jazz series, 8 p.m., $5.
